The Salt Path by Raynor Winn

Unexpectedly finding themselves homeless in the aftermath of a bad investment while in their 50s, Raynor and Moth Winn decide they have nothing else left to lose and begin walking the 630 mile sea-swept West Coast Path with just a couple of rucksacks, very little money and a dire medical diagnosis for Moth. The High Plains Library District Board is seeking candidates to
fill two vacancies on its Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees consists of seven (7) members, all of whom must reside within the boundaries of the District’s legal service area. The areas needing representation are:

• Region 2: Gilcrest, Hudson, Keenesburg, LaSalle, Lochbuie, Platteville, Fort Lupton

• Region 4: Greeley, Evans, Garden City

Both terms run from January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2026.

Our highlighted book for the beginning of July is a bit unusual and easy to miss. It’s a suspenseful and insidiously terrifying book that is already marked by Hollywood for adaptation – by the screenwriter who brought us nightmares with IT!
