April 25, 2012 (Greeley, CO) – The High Plains Library District Foundation is seeking entries from Colorado artists for their Taste of Art Auction. A $25 entry fee covers up to five entered pieces. A $100 cash prize will be awarded in five categories as well as a $250 “best of show” prize. Artists may choose to sell their art with 20% of the sale price donated to the HPLD Foundation. Art donations for the silent auction (100% of proceeds to benefit HPLDF) are also sought.
The event, sponsored by NCMC, Inc. and Bittersweet Liquors will be held on Saturday, June 16th from 6:30 to 9pm at Centennial Park Library, 2227 23rd Ave. in Greeley. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at Centennial Park Library or by calling (970) 506-8565.
