Curbside Pickup At Your Library
1. Place Items On Hold
Items can be placed on hold by logging in to your library account on mylibrary.us. You may also call 1-888-861-READ (7323) for assistance. Wait times may be longer than usual.
2. Wait for Confirmation That Your Items Have Arrived
You will receive notification that your items are ready for pickup. Please do not attempt to pick up your items before being notified that your items are ready, even if they are located on the shelf at the library you intend to visit.
3. Pick Up Your Items
Once your holds are ready for pickup, arrive at your library, park, and call our Virtual Library: 888-861-7323
They will connect you to the right branch.
4. Follow Directions
The staff member on the phone will give you directions.
Q: What if I need other services like printing or Specialty Checkout?
Both of these services are now available. Please check this page for updated services.
Q: How long will you hold my items?
We’ll keep holds for 7 days, after which they will expire.
Q: When are my items due back?
Items due dates will vary depending on item type and are calculated based on checkout date. Please check the receipt included with your items to find exact due dates. You can renew items through our web site or by calling 1-888-861-READ (7323). There will not be daily fines for overdue items, however if your item is more than 42 days overdue, it will be considered lost, and replacement charges will be applied to your library account.
Q: How does item return work?
Please return items to the inside or outside book drop at the location of your choice. Please do not leave returned items anywhere other than the book drop. Please do not attempt to return items by leaving them in the holds pickup locations. You do not need to make an appointment to return items.
Q: Will you be lending Speciality Checkout items such as laptops?
Yes! You may make reservations for Curbside Specialty Checkouts. See this page for details.
Q: What precautions are in place to keep this as safe as possible?
We are following CDC recommendations, social distancing guidelines in the building as well as limiting the number of staff present. Staff are taking their temperatures before arriving at work. Vaccinated staff may choose to go unmasked, unvaccinated staff members are required to continue wearing a mask.
