Riverside Library and Cultural Center

Riverside Library, located in Old Town Evans, opened in Fall 2014 and is fast becoming a destination library for neighborhoods surrounding the library and the Evans community as a whole. The 18,500 square foot library is part of a joint use cultural center which is operated and maintained by the City of Evans. With over 36,000 items, 30 public access computers, free wifi, four study rooms, a cozy fireplace, areas for children and teens, plenty of casual seating, a multi-purpose room for community and library programs, daily courier service from other HPLD locations, and many online databases, we have something for everyone.

The City of Evans also provides large, well-equipped meeting rooms, local history displays, office spaces, a police sub-station, and an outdoor play space and plaza. To make a meeting room reservation, call 970-475-1125.

The Riverside Library hosts a wide variety of classes, storytimes for young customers, one-on-one computer help sessions, book clubs for adults, and programs/activities for the entire family. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is always ready to assist with your information needs in the library, and staff members are also available for visits to schools, community organizations and clubs.

Everyone is welcome!
