Libby Will Now Ask for a PIN

Libby has made a minor change, becoming slightly nosier, and will ask for your PIN when you log in.

The important things to know:

  1. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your phone number, unless you’ve changed it (or changed your phone number and haven’t gotten around to letting your library know yet).
  2. This IS expected behavior, so there’s no need to worry, Libby let us know this would be happening, and now we’re letting YOU know. It’s like a game of telephone with our pal Libby. Our great, great buddy who likes playing these games on her timetable, not necessarily when WE want to…

And that’s really about it!

No earthshattering info, no major change, just 4 digits extra you’ll have to put in, probably one time, and then forget about until you need it years from now.

Ah, the 21st century password process!
