Photomyne

With Photomyne, you can scan photos, scrapbooks, slides, photo negatives, documents. You can use Photomyne from home or in the library!

Download the app with a specific HPLD connection to unlock free services.

A smart device with a camera is required to use Photomyne, both at home and in the library.

Light Pad

Stop in and use the light pad to help make scanning easier, especially useful for photo negatives and slides!

Video Conversion

Video Convertor

The Video2Digital Convertor can convert anything with RCA or A/V cable outputs. Videos played on old camcorders, tapes in outdated formats — if you have a tape and something that can play it, we can convert it to a high-quality digital file.

Convert VHS tapes with the VCR and Video2Digital Convertor. 

Cassette Conversion

The ezcap TapeDigi can convert cassette tapes (sometimes called “compact cassettes”) to digitial files.

In-Person Help

Drop-in help is available during all HPLD Library & Archive open hours:
Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

You can also make a Book A Librarian appointment to schedule a time and cover different digitization topics. Just select “Digitization” from the list of options, and select “Library & Archive” from the list of locations.
