(Greeley – August, 2021) – Beginning in August, High Plains Library District (HPLD), in partnership with United Way of Weld County, will host diaper pick-up sites for library patrons. Diapers are available at the following HPLD locations:
- Carbon Valley Regional Library
- Centennial Park Library
- Farr Regional Library
- Erie Community Library
- Kersey Library
- MOVE Bookmobile Routes
- Riverside Library
Diapers will also be available to clients of Northern Colorado Health Alliance Community Outreach, Immigrant & Refugee Center, and United Way of Weld County Family Support.
“High Plains Library District is happy to host pick-up sites for the Covering Weld County Diaper Bank in many of our library locations. We hope this gives patrons the opportunity to visit our libraries, participate in our storytimes, and see all the library services offered to them,” said James Melena, Community Relations and Marketing Manager.
Patrons can pick up diapers once a week for each child in need, each pack contains 10 diapers, and 13 sizes of diapers are being offered. This program is currently scheduled and funded to run for one year.
