All Library Events Cancelled Beginning March 14, 2020

(Greeley – March, 2020) – Due to the ongoing threat of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and to combat its spread, the High Plains Library District will be cancelling library programs, events, classes and meetings beginning March 14.

“Our libraries will continue to be open regular operating hours, but we continue to closely monitor the recommendations put out by the CDC, the Colorado Department of Health, and the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment,” said Dr. Matthew Hortt, Executive Director of High Plains Library District. “These cancellations will be effective for the next three weeks, at which point we will re-evaluate the situation. In the meantime, we hope our patrons still utilize digital resources like Kanopy and Hoopla if remaining at home.”

Additionally, the District will begin auto-renewing checked out materials and materials on the Hold shelf will not expire. We ask that patrons keep their items and not return them at this time.
