Taste of Art

The High Plains Library District Foundation is seeking entries from Colorado artists for the annual Taste of Art Benefit. A $30 entry fee covers up to three entered pieces. $750 in cash prizes will be awarded in five categories: Drawing and Print-Making, Mixed Media, Photography, Painting and 3D, as well as a prize for “Best of Show.” Art will be accepted between 5 and 9:00 pm on Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30 at the Centennial Park Library in Greeley.

Artists may choose to sell their art with 20% of the sale price donated to the HPLD Foundation. Donations of pieces for the event’s silent auction with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the HPLD Foundation are also sought. Art may remain on display through August.

The event, sponsored by NCMC, Inc., will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 7:00 to 9:30 pm at the Centennial Park Library in Greeley. Tickets to Taste of Art are $30 each and can be purchased at Centennial Park Library or by calling (970) 506-8563.
