Canvas Doodle

Draw, Doodle, and Paint!

We will follow easy step-by-step instructions as your Gallery on the Go guide helps you create a fun design! You will draw the main images of the selection, fill in the design with your own creative doodling, and then complete your beautiful masterpiece by painting the remaining canvas! Snacks will be provided.

On the Road to Reading Early Literacy Fair

Read, write, sing, talk and play with your children! Visit any time during our free Early Literacy Fair for lots of fun, interactive learning activities based on the 5 practices of Every Child Ready to Read. You and your child will enjoy Eric Carle themed activities, fun crafts, and much more.

Intro to Pokemon Go

If you haven't quite got on board with the Pokemon Go phenomenon and you'd like to know what all the hype is about, or maybe battle with your kids or grandkids, we will teach you the basics of Pokemon Go.

Join us at Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st Ave, Greeley, on October 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Includes a tour of PokeStops in the area, an introduction to a Gym and how to get started with lots of explanations of what it all means.

Required for full participation: comfortable walking shoes, fully charged smartphone with GPS enabled, the ability to download apps, data or wifi capability.

Recommended for adults. Registration is required.

Mrs. Moon's Doll Club

Come and learn about dolls of the past and the girls who played with them. See examples of dolls and other artifacts as we explore a different time period each month. Stories, fiber and paper crafts, and hands-on exploring will be part of the fun. Parents, caregivers, and dolls are always welcome to join in! Do's and Don'ts of Couponing

Join us at Riverside Library, 3700 Golden St., Evans, on October 3, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., as Amanda Nix, from the Couponers of Weld County shows us to drastically cut our weekly grocery bill. New couponers will be guided through the basics of how to use coupons and how to save money on just about everything!

We will learn: - How coupons work - How to organize your coupons in order to save more money - How to match up sales items with coupons - How to tell if a sale price is really a good deal - About websites to print out coupons - About manufacturers to contact in order to get coupons.

Your Naturally Clean Home

Do you want a naturally clean home? In this free class held at Centennial Park Library on October 1, 10:30 am-12 pm, you will learn how to skip the toxins with all natural cleaning products for a safer, cleaner home. After learning some basics about traditional household products and natural alternatives, you will make all-natural, safe and effective cleaners for your home and will leave with ideas for even more DIY cleaners. College Prep: How do I get in?

The college admissions process can be daunting, but armed with the right information, you can be successful! Students or parents can join us to learn about practical college planning and lowering the cost of college. Lois Rice, Erie resident and educational consultant for 12 years, will be at Erie Community Library on October 4, 6-8 pm, to discuss topics that include standardized testing, the application process and tips about financial aid.
