ReadCon is Northern Colorado’s Premier event for readers and writers. Not to mention audiobook lovers, podcasters, zombie fans, local authors, poets, films fans, gadget geeks and comic nerds. Like any great, big life event, like any beautiful faraway place, like the best day of your life, it can’t be described. You’ve just got to be there. Multiple venues + multiple presentations = multiple fun!

The second annual ReadCon Books & Brews promises to be the hottest event of the day. You’ll have a chance to meet dozens of Colorado authors, get a book or two signed, sample brews from some of the finest local breweries, and enjoy the rocking music of Denver band Dixie Leadfoot, all in one convenient location. Zombies, vampires, ghosts and ghouls will gather together to show their refinement and hear about the best in undead literature at this year’s ReadCon tea. Costumes are encouraged but not required, although the best- dressed of the undead will be named by special guest Stephanie Ohnmacht. Pick out your favorite costume, join us at tea, and remember – pinkies out (if you’ve still got them). Tickets are required, but free of charge, and will include tea and mini scone. After a zombie tea and geeking out over the We're Alive Podcast, a zombie can work up a mighty thirst. Join the herd as we bar hop downtown Greeley. Prizes and games are included. Don't forget to wear your best zombie getup! Check out the ReadCon signature drinks being offered at local venues.
