Farr Regional Library

The Farr Library serves as a Regional Library for
the High Plains Library District. The 38,000 square-foot building
houses 135,000 items and the District administrative offices.
Special collections include a Small Business Reference Collection
and a Nonprofit Resource Center. Recently, the Farr Branch
became a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center. As a member of this nationwide
network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit
agencies, the Farr Branch provides visitors with free public
access to grants directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit
management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic
databases.
The Farr Library offers a wide range of library programs,
from storytimes for young customers, to computer classes
and book clubs. Customers can also enjoy a beverage or snack
from the coffee cart and read a book in front of the fireplace.
The Farr Library also features a meeting room which is available
for community use.
