A Taste of Art, an annual HPLD Foundation fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 8, from 7-9:30 pm, at Centennial Park Library. Hundreds of pieces of art ranging from acrylic to pottery are on display now. The evening features live musicians, art demonstration, Midsummer Night's Dream, sweets and savories, wine and beer. Tickets are $30. Tickets for staff and a guest are $15. Tickets may be purchased at the Greeley libraries, or by calling Janine at 970-506-8563.

The High Plains Library Board of Trustees is currently seeking nominations to fill a vacancy starting January 1, 2013. While there are no statutory requirements regarding residency, it was the intent at the time the district was created that each jurisdiction have representation. The area to be represented in this appointment is: Area 6 – New Raymer, Kersey, Grover Bordered on the north by the Weld County line; on the south by CR44; on the east by the Weld County line; and on the west by CR45.
